New Delhi, March 13: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has frozen fresh assets worth over ₹581 crore belonging to Reliance Home Finance Limited (RHFL) and Reliance Commercial Finance Limited (RCFL), companies linked to Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani.
The March 11 order targets land parcels across 13 states, including Goa, Kerala, Karnataka, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Delhi, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
This follows ED raids on March 6 against Reliance Power Limited under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). The probe originated from a CBI FIR based on complaints from Yes Bank, Union Bank of India, and Bank of Maharashtra.
It revealed RHFL and RCFL raised over ₹11,000 crore from banks and institutions, much of which turned into non-performing assets.
Total attachments against the Reliance Anil Ambani Group now exceed ₹16,310 crore, with prior seizures included.
