Changthang, May 12 : Deputy Commissioner, Changthang, Nitish Rajora convened an introductory meeting with sectoral heads of various departments to review administrative coordination and emphasise efficient delivery of public services across the region.
The meeting, attended by heads of offices from different departments functioning in Changthang, focused on strengthening governance mechanisms, improving departmental coordination and ensuring effective implementation of government welfare programmes.
Addressing the officers, Nitish Rajora stressed the importance of commitment, discipline and efficiency in public administration. He directed departments to ensure that government schemes are implemented in a timely and transparent manner so that benefits reach all eligible beneficiaries without delay.
The Deputy Commissioner also underlined the need for punctuality, accountability and responsiveness in day-to-day official functioning, stating that effective public service delivery depends upon coordinated efforts and administrative discipline at all levels.
Officials present during the meeting discussed departmental functioning and issues related to implementation of various schemes and developmental programmes in the Changthang region.
The meeting concluded with the Deputy Commissioner calling upon all departments to work in close coordination to strengthen administrative efficiency and improve outreach of government initiatives in remote areas.
