SRINAGAR, May 18: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed grief over the demise of Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, father of Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid and MLA Khursheed Ahmad Sheikh.
Khazir Mohammad Sheikh passed away at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, after a prolonged illness. He was 85.
The Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
He also prayed for strength and courage for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
