Beijing, May 23 : A gas explosion at the Liushenyu coal mine in Changzhi city, Shanxi province, killed at least 82 people, state media reported Saturday. Dozens of workers were initially reported trapped underground after the Friday evening accident; Xinhua said the cause of the blast is under investigation and rescue efforts continue.
