Kargil, Mar 17: A delegation of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Kargil, led by its Ladakh Vice President Mohd Hussain, on Tuesday called on the newly appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kargil, Ghulam Mohammad (KAS), and felicitated him on assuming office.
The delegation, which included BJYM District Kargil members Shahid Hussain and Shakeel Ahmad, extended their congratulations and conveyed best wishes for a productive tenure.
During the interaction, the BJYM leaders underlined the need for a responsive and transparent administrative framework to address developmental concerns in the region. They also assured the ADC of their full cooperation in initiatives aimed at public welfare.
Mohd Hussain, on the occasion, raised several issues concerning the youth of Kargil and submitted a memorandum to the ADC, seeking attention to matters related to employment, engagement, and overall development of young people in the district.
Responding to the delegation, ADC Kargil Ghulam Mohammad expressed appreciation for the gesture and acknowledged the concerns put forth. He stressed the importance of collective efforts in ensuring progress, stability, and the well-being of the people of Kargil.
