Leh, Apr 04: The Leh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party organised the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Training Mahabhiyan 2026, with a focus on strengthening organisational structure and enhancing outreach across Ladakh.
The programme, held under the leadership of Tashi Gyaltsan Khachu, brought together senior party functionaries and grassroots workers to deliberate on policy priorities and organisational strategy. Among those present were Ashok Koul and Srikanth Sharma, alongside state executives, former Members of Parliament, former executive councillors, councillors, and representatives of various party wings.
Speakers at the session outlined the party’s ideological foundations, drawing upon the vision of Deendayal Upadhyay, while also reviewing ongoing government schemes and their implementation at the local level. Discussions centred on improving coordination within the party structure and ensuring that welfare initiatives reach intended beneficiaries.
Senior leaders called on party workers to intensify engagement with the public and disseminate information about developmental programmes. The need for collective effort in advancing Ladakh’s development agenda and aligning it with national priorities was underscored throughout the proceedings.
The training initiative forms part of a broader organisational exercise aimed at equipping party cadres with the tools required for effective communication, mobilisation, and policy outreach in the region.
