Leh, Sept 09: A BJP delegation comprising Mohd Hassan Pasha, State Media Secretary, and Mohd Hussain, BJYM State General Secretary, UT Ladakh, today called on Lieutenant Governor Kavinder Gupta at Raj Bhavan, Leh. The meeting focused on developmental concerns and pressing issues related to Kargil district.
According to officials present, the leaders engaged in a detailed discussion with the Lieutenant Governor, highlighting the need to expedite infrastructure works, strengthen public service delivery, and address the immediate requirements of the local population. The delegation urged the administration to ensure timely completion of projects already underway in the region.
The Lieutenant Governor was reported to have given a patient hearing to the points raised and assured responsive measures from the administration. Sources indicated that the Governor emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing local aspirations and ensuring balanced growth across Ladakh.
In a statement following the meeting, Mohd Hassan Pasha described the interaction as constructive and reiterated the party’s resolve to work in alignment with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that under the guidance of senior leadership, the BJP in Ladakh will continue its efforts toward comprehensive development and equitable progress for Kargil district.
