Amaravati, Apr 24: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is set to receive an award from a media house in Mumbai on Saturday in recognition of the reforms he has implemented.
The CM will depart for Mumbai on Saturday afternoon at around 1 pm. He is expected to reach the Maharashtra capital by around 3 pm and then proceed to the venue at about 5.30 pm for the awards ceremony scheduled for 9.30 pm, according to a press release issued on Friday.
“Award for the reformer of governance: CM to receive the Business Reformer of the Year award in Mumbai tomorrow,” the press release said.
Naidu has been selected for the award in recognition of implementing transformative initiatives such as ‘Speed of Doing Business’ and ‘Speed of Delivering Governance’ in Andhra Pradesh, it said.
Eminent personalities such as Arun Jaitley, Piyush Goyal, Nitish Kumar, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and S Jaishankar have received the Business Reformer of the Year award in the past, the press release added.
