Anantnag, May 17: Police in Anantnag have intensified their anti-narcotics drive and arrested a drug peddler during naka checking at Tulkhan Crossing in Bijbehara.
During the operation, police recovered 102 grams of charas concealed in a corn husk from the accused. Officials said the action was part of an ongoing crackdown on drug trafficking in the district.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
