Leh, Jul 23: The quiet morning air in Leh buzzed with energy as 26 female bikers revved up their engines for a powerful ride across Ladakh. The all-women team from the Shakti Udghosh Foundation, led by Dr. Preeti Chaudhary, set off on their journey under the banner “Ride with Pride 2.0,” a tribute to bravery, unity, and the spirit of womanhood.
Their route will wind through Pangong, Rezang La, Hanle, and back to Leh, weaving together stories of resilience and national devotion. More than a ride, this expedition carries a message tied closely to Operation Sindoor and the memory of Kargil Vijay Diwas — saluting the courage of India’s armed forces.
At the Council Secretariat of LAHDC Leh, the riders were flagged off by LAHDC Deputy Chairman Tsering Angchuk and SSP Leh Ms. Shruti Arora. Both officials engaged with the bikers before the journey began, applauding their commitment and the message they aim to spread across the region.
Calling the ride a source of inspiration, Angchuk said the women’s drive shows a rare kind of resolve and purpose. SSP Arora, sharing her thoughts after meeting the team, said it was uplifting to hear about their cause and witness the strength they embodied.
The engines roared to life, but it was the spirit behind them — the drive to honor the nation and uplift women — that left a lasting impression on those gathered. As the riders disappeared down the winding roads of Ladakh, they carried not just their mission, but the hopes and pride of many.
