JAMMU: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today met Mohammad Aijaz (IAS), Administrative Secretary, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department, Jammu & Kashmir.
During the meeting, the CEC discussed issues related to road improvement, blacktopping of link roads and other public infrastructure concerns affecting residents from Kargil living in Bathindi and nearby areas.
Later on, the CEC met the Deputy Director, Jal Shakti Department, along with other senior officials of the department.
In this meeting, he highlighted the need for basic drinking water facilities, proper maintenance of water supply lines and ensuring regular water availability in localities where people from Kargil are staying in Jammu.
Both officers assured that the issues raised would be taken up with their respective departments for necessary action.
The CEC thanked the officials for their positive response and reaffirmed that LAHDC Kargil remains committed to ensuring better facilities for the people of Kargil residing in Jammu and Kashmir.
