Leh, May 19 : Former Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson on Monday held a series of meetings with delegations of aspirants and representatives from Chuchot village, during which issues related to reforms, local development and welfare measures were discussed.
The meetings were attended by BJP Ladakh State President and State Yuva Morcha President Thinles Chumik, with discussions focusing on concerns raised by aspirants from different parts of Ladakh and possible measures to address them.
According to party leaders, the delegations highlighted several issues affecting aspirants and sought continued support and guidance from the BJP leadership. Deliberations were also held on the need for constructive reforms and a coordinated approach towards resolving pending concerns.
Earlier in the day, Gyalson was also approached by a delegation from Chuchot led by BJP Leh District President Sonam Rigzen, former Councillor Mirza Hussain and Mandal President Thinless Chosdup Chos.
The delegation included Nambardars, members of the Chuchot Ex-Servicemen Association and senior citizens from the village, who expressed gratitude to the former CEC for extending support towards developmental works and welfare schemes in the area.
During the interaction, the delegation also discussed issues concerning Chuchot village in the backdrop of the recent visit of BJP leaders to the area and sought continued assistance on matters related to local development and public welfare.
Party functionaries said the discussions centred on strengthening coordination between the leadership and local communities to address developmental concerns and ensure continued engagement with the public at the grassroots level.
