Leh, Sept 09: The second day of the Bib Expo at the Ladakh Marathon 2025 saw the Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh, through the Office of the Mission Director of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), actively engaging with participants, tourists, and local residents to promote digital healthcare services.
Throughout the day, the ABDM team conducted live demonstrations of the process to generate the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) ID, offering hands-on guidance to attendees. Many visitors successfully created their ABHA IDs on the spot, gaining direct experience of ABDM-enabled digital health services.
Officials elaborated on how the ABHA system enables citizens to securely digitise medical prescriptions, diagnostic reports, vaccination records, and other health documents. Linking these records to an ABHA ID ensures continuity of care and provides seamless access to healthcare providers across the country.
To further support awareness, the team distributed informational brochures and multilingual templates in English, Hindi, and Bhoti, assisting citizens in navigating the creation of their digital health IDs. Officials emphasized the role of ABHA in facilitating accessible, secure, and integrated digital health records for every resident.
The enthusiastic response on the second day reflected increasing awareness of digital health initiatives in Ladakh and highlighted the unique platform provided by the Marathon Expo to connect with diverse communities. The ABDM team reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening digital health services and empowering citizens through participation and education.
