Leh, Sept 07: The Union Territory of Ladakh’s administration, through the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), actively engaged citizens at the Bib Expo of the Ladakh Marathon 2025, held September 7–8. The event saw enthusiastic participation from local residents and tourists preparing for the marathon.
At the expo, the Ladakh ABDM team guided visitors in creating their Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) ID. Citizens were shown how to use Aadhaar, download ABDM-enabled Personal Health Record (PHR) apps, and access digital health services. Many successfully generated their ABHA ID in under a minute, while others collected brochures and flyers available in English, Hindi, and Bhoti, ensuring broad accessibility.
The stall featured live demonstrations and interactive activities, providing hands-on experience of the benefits of digital health services. The lively Bib Expo also included other exhibitors such as Puma Go Wild, SYCO Sports, and stalls offering prescription sunglasses and specialized marathon gear, creating a comprehensive experience for athletes and visitors alike.
The overwhelming response from marathon participants, spectators, and tourists underscored both the growing popularity of the Ladakh Marathon and the importance of integrating health awareness with athletic pursuits.
