Kargil, July 10: The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of the University of Ladakh, Prof. Saket Kushwaha, accompanied by Registrar Mr. Nawang Tundup, inaugurated the newly constructed canteen facility at the Kargil Campus of the University today.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr. Mehboob Ali, In-charge Administration of the Kargil Campus, along with faculty members, non-teaching staff, and representatives of the student union.
Addressing the students during the event, Prof. Kushwaha emphasized the importance of maintaining the cleanliness and sanctity of the new facility. “This canteen belongs to you—take care of it and make the best use of it,” he urged.
The newly inaugurated canteen is expected to enhance the campus experience by providing a dedicated and well-equipped space for students and staff to gather, dine, and engage in informal discussions.
The event concluded with a tour of the facility and interactions with students and staff.
