


Kargil, Sept 21: The 2 Ladakh Battalion National Cadet Corps (NCC) in Kargil brought its 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) to a close with a vibrant Cultural Programme and Camp Fire at the unit headquarters.
Throughout the camp, cadets engaged in an array of training and educational activities designed to enhance their skills and knowledge. They participated in rigorous drill sessions, weapon handling exercises, and lectures on drone technology, alongside other informative sessions focused on fostering leadership, discipline, and situational awareness. A volleyball tournament added a spirited dimension to the schedule, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship among the cadets.
The concluding Cultural Programme and Camp Fire showcased the creativity and talent of the cadets through performances, songs, and dances, cultivating a sense of camaraderie and festivity among participants.
Addressing the cadets at the closing ceremony, the Commanding Officer of 2 Ladakh Battalion NCC commended their active engagement and dedication throughout the camp. He also acknowledged the tireless efforts of the Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), instructors, and staff who contributed to the smooth organization of the event.
The camp concluded with the distribution of awards and prizes to cadets who demonstrated excellence in training, sports, and cultural activities, leaving participants with cherished memories and valuable learning experiences.
