Tel Aviv: Israel’s opposition leader Yair Lapid unleashed a scathing critique of PM Benjamin Netanyahu, calling the US-Iran ceasefire a “political disaster” unprecedented in Israeli history.
In a post on X, Lapid said: “Israel wasn’t even at the table when decisions were made concerning our national security core. The military delivered, the public showed resilience, but Netanyahu failed politically and strategically—missing every goal he set.”
He blamed “arrogance, negligence, and lack of planning,” warning of years needed to repair the damage. More details promised later today.
