Dallas, Feb 11: American YouTuber Alex Stein ignited outrage at a public event by mocking Hindus with derogatory remarks about cow urine, prompting angry Indian-Americans to walk out in protest.
During what he framed as a “satirical speech,” Stein targeted Hindu practices, including references to cow urine in rituals, during an appearance at an event attended by the Indian diaspora. Videos of the incident quickly went viral, drawing sharp condemnation for insensitivity toward cultural and religious beliefs.
Outraged attendees, including members of the Indian-American community, confronted Stein and left the venue en masse. Social media erupted with backlash, with many calling the comments hate speech disguised as comedy.
Stein, known for provocative content on his platform, has not issued an apology as of now. The episode highlights rising tensions around cultural mockery in the US amid growing Indian diaspora influence.
