LUCKNOW, Jan 13: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath credited technology platforms like PRAGATI for transforming Uttar Pradesh from a “bottleneck state” to a “breakthrough state,” positioning the government as a project accelerator rather than mere facilitator.
Adityanath highlighted PRAGATI’s role in fostering Centre-state coordination, shifting focus from problems to solutions, and revolutionizing governance since its 2015 national launch—evolving from Gujarat’s 2003 SWAGAT model pioneered by PM Narendra Modi.
The platform has accelerated ₹86 lakh crore in national projects, resolving 2,958 of 3,162 issues, with PM directly reviewing 377 major initiatives. In UP, 330 projects worth ₹10.48 lakh crore—spanning expressways, railways, metro, rapid rail, and waterways—show 39% completion (128 projects, ₹2.37 lakh crore), with 97% issue resolution rate.
Adityanath emphasized timely completions generate employment, replacing file-centric delays with field-focused results, inter-agency collaboration, and a new work culture driving India’s infrastructure growth engine.
