KARGIL DEC 14 : Vice Chancellor of the University of Ladakh, Prof Saket Kushwaha chaired a comprehensive review meeting with all faculty members of the Kargil Campus to assess academic progress, ongoing semester examinations, faculty-related concerns and overall campus arrangements.
The meeting focused on strengthening academic standards while ensuring smooth institutional functioning.
During the interaction, the Vice Chancellor underscored the importance of academic excellence, institutional development and the holistic growth of the Kargil Campus.
Emphasising quality education as the core mandate of the University, the VC urged faculty members to remain committed to effective teaching, research pursuits and timely academic delivery, noting that sustained academic focus is crucial for the long-term growth of the institution.
The Incharge Administration, Kargil Campus, Dr. Mehboob Ali, briefed the meeting on the status of ongoing developmental works and shared updates on infrastructure enhancement and administrative progress. He highlighted efforts being undertaken to improve campus facilities in line with the academic and administrative needs of the University.
The Deputy Controller of Examinations, Dr Jaffar Ali Khan, provided a detailed update on the conduct of the ongoing semester examinations.
He informed the gathering that examinations were being held smoothly, while also addressing examination-related arrangements and challenges to ensure fairness and efficiency in the process.
The meeting concluded with an interactive session, during which faculty members raised queries and offered constructive suggestions.
The discussion reflected a shared resolve among the faculty and administration to work collectively towards strengthening academic standards and accelerating the overall development of the University of Ladakh, Kargil Campus.
