Udaipur, Dec 25: A female manager at a private IT firm has accused her company’s CEO, a senior female executive, and the executive’s husband of gang-raping her inside a moving car following the CEO’s birthday party, police confirmed Wednesday.
The incident allegedly unfolded on Dec 20 in the Sukher area during what began as a celebratory gathering at a Shobhagpura hotel. The victim attended the CEO’s birthday and New Year bash around 9 PM, which involved heavy drinking and lasted until 1:30 AM. As other guests left, the trio offered to drop her home but instead stopped to buy an intoxicating substance resembling cigarettes, which she claims left her unconscious.
Upon partially regaining consciousness, the manager alleged the CEO molested her while the executive’s husband raped her, with the female executive present. Despite pleas, they held her until around 5 AM before dropping her off. She later discovered missing items like earrings and undergarments, plus injuries including hand marks and private part trauma, prompting a Dec 23 complaint at Sukher police station.
Udaipur SP Yogesh Goyal stated three suspects—including the woman—were detained for questioning. A gang-rape case (FIR details pending) was registered, with ASP Madhuri Verma of the women’s crime unit leading the probe. The survivor’s medical exam confirmed assault, and dashcam footage from the car is under review.
This shocking case highlights workplace safety concerns in corporate after-parties, with police emphasizing resource-intensive investigation including interstate coordination. Updates expected post-interrogations and full medical report.
