Surat, Feb 28: A heart‑wrenching tragedy unfolded in a Surat housing complex where three members of a family— husband, wife, and their 9‑year‑old daughter—were found dead in their flat, suspected to have died by suicide.
According to preliminary information, the bodies were discovered by neighbours after the family failed to respond to knocks. The final rituals were carried out after the bodies were taken to the mortuary, with relatives later taking the bodies to the village late on Thursday night. Neighbours reportedly said they had not observed any immediate signs of distress, but the family had been living in the same building for about a decade, raising questions about what may have triggered the incident.
