Leh, Sept 27: As part of the nationwide Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign 2025, troops of the Parashu Warriors undertook a large-scale cleanliness initiative in the high-altitude regions of Ladakh, reaffirming their commitment towards environmental protection and community service.
The campaign included river cleaning operations, clearing of surroundings, and sensitizing local communities about hygiene and sanitation. The troops, despite the tough terrain and extreme weather conditions, dedicated themselves to restoring the natural beauty of the fragile Himalayan ecosystem.
One of the highlights of the drive was the awareness sessions conducted in local schools, where soldiers interacted with children and delivered lectures on hygiene, waste management, and the importance of preserving the environment for future generations. Through engaging discussions and demonstrations, the troops encouraged students to adopt sustainable practices and become responsible guardians of their surroundings.
