Jammu, June 4 : Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu, Joginder Singh, on Wednesday chaired a comprehensive Crime Review Meeting at the District Police Lines (DPL), Jammu, to assess the prevailing law and order situation and evaluate the performance of police units across the district.
The meeting was attended by Zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs), Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs), Station House Officers (SHOs), and Incharge Police Posts and Border Police Posts of District Jammu.
During the review, the SSP examined the status of crime investigations, pending cases, execution of warrants, preventive policing measures, and ongoing action against drug trafficking, organized crime, and other unlawful activities. Officers were instructed to ensure timely investigation and disposal of cases while maintaining professionalism, transparency, and accountability.
Emphasizing the importance of effective and responsive policing, Joginder Singh urged officers to perform their duties with dedication and commitment to public service. He stressed the need for proactive policing, stronger public outreach, and swift redressal of citizens’ grievances.
The SSP also directed field officers to intensify action against anti-social elements, strengthen crime prevention strategies, and enhance coordination with local communities to maintain peace, security, and public confidence.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of Jammu Police’s commitment to delivering transparent, citizen-friendly, and efficient policing while upholding the rule of law.
