Srinagar, Mar 28: Flight operations at Srinagar International Airport will face restrictions from April to July due to essential runway works, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) announced Friday.
A NOTAM issued by the Indian Air Force mandates reduced operational hours for scheduled flights until 5 pm starting April 6 through July 31. Currently, the airport handles around 60 daily flight movements (arrivals and departures) from 8 am to 10 pm.
“While watch hours will be curtailed, flight movements are set to rise per the DGCA-approved Summer Schedule. Airlines will adjust operations within the new timings,” AAI Srinagar posted on X.
AAI reaffirmed its commitment to safe and efficient travel, urging passengers to check official channels for updates and ignore unverified info.
