Jammu, March 27: Slogans against Israel were raised in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Friday, leading to brief disruptions during the ongoing session.
According to reports, some members voiced protest over the situation in West Asia, particularly expressing concern over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The slogan shouting briefly interrupted the proceedings, prompting intervention from the Chair to restore order in the House.
Sources said the members were attempting to draw attention to the international developments and their humanitarian implications.
However, the Assembly resumed normal functioning shortly after the disruption.
