Jammu, Dec 01: Shree Geeta Jayanti was observed with devotion and collective reverence at Shree Radhey Shyam Ji Mandir, Bhour Camp, as Saraswat Shree Krishan Lal Pandit Aadhyaatmik Smriti Nyas (SKLPAASAN) organised a religious programme promoting unity, cultural values and the teachings of Shree Madbhagwat Geeta.
Under the guidance of SKLPAASAN Chairman Dr Ved Parkash Shastri and President and former ZEPO Hem Raj Ranyal, the organisation highlighted its mission of promoting education, Sanskrit, rituals and ethical principles aligned with Dharm, Arth, Kaam and Moksh. Devotees participated in the event marked by spiritual enthusiasm.
Acharya Ravi Sharma led the recitation of sacred Shalokas and delivered a discourse on humanity, brotherhood and the universal message embodied in the Geeta. Pt Ashok Kumar Shastri extended support to the proceedings.
Addressing the gathering, members emphasised that people of diverse faiths and traditions have long coexisted with mutual dependence, respect and shared cultural roots dating back to Vedic times. They urged citizens to contribute to nation-building and communal harmony, upholding Lord Krishna’s teachings for collective progress and welfare.
