Srinagar, Oct 08: The Special Investigation Agency (SIA) of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday carried out extensive raids at multiple locations across South Kashmir, with active assistance from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
According to official sources, the searches were conducted as part of an ongoing investigation aimed at dismantling networks linked to unlawful and anti-national activities in the region. The coordinated operation covered several sensitive areas suspected of being connected to terror funding and subversive elements.
The SIA teams, backed by armed CRPF contingents, searched residential premises and seized crucial documents and digital evidence that may aid in identifying individuals associated with banned outfits.
Officials stated that these operations underline the agency’s intensified crackdown on the terror ecosystem operating in Kashmir and reaffirm its commitment to preserving peace and public order.
Security forces have maintained heightened vigilance as part of broader counter-terror efforts to ensure stability and prevent any resurgence of militancy-linked activity in the Valley.
