New Delhi, Mar 25: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh chaired a Parliamentary Consultative Committee meeting today, focusing on the Border Roads Organisation (BRO)’s role in defence and infrastructure.
In an X post, Singh stated: “Chaired the Parliamentary Consultative Committee meeting today on the subject of Border Roads Organisation. Comprehensive and insightful deliberations were held on important issues pertaining to defence, infrastructure development and ongoing strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening national security and operational preparedness.”
Discussions highlighted BRO’s strategic road projects in border areas, enhancing military mobility and national security—key for regions like J&K and Ladakh.
