Policeman Injured in Accidental Gunfire at Shopian Police Office

SRINAGAR, MAR 28: A policeman was injured when a colleague’s rifle accidentally discharged at the district police office in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir, on Friday, officials said here.

Constable Ashiq Hussain, who was working as a canteen boy, sustained a bullet wound in his lower abdomen in the incident inside the canteen area. He was immediately shifted and admitted to the 92 Base Hospital of the Army in Srinagar for treatment.
