Amman, Dec 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday urged Jordanian companies to explore investment opportunities in India, assuring them of strong returns as the Indian economy continues to expand at over 8 per cent.
Addressing the India–Jordan Business Forum in Amman, Modi said India is on track to become the world’s third-largest economy and offers vast potential for businesses seeking growth and stability. “India’s high GDP growth reflects productivity-driven governance and policies fostering innovation,” he said.
Modi emphasised that his visit to Jordan was not just about numbers, but about developing a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership. “The relationship between India and Jordan is one where historical trust and future economic opportunities come together,” he noted.
The Prime Minister said that India welcomes Jordanian participation across key sectors including infrastructure, technology, renewable energy, and manufacturing, aligning with New Delhi’s vision of inclusive and sustainable development.
