Pulwama: PDP president Mehbooba Mufti has welcomed the failure of the United States and Iran to reach an agreement on ending the West Asia conflict after marathon talks in Islamabad.
She said she was “happy that Iran was firm on their demands, which led to America going back empty‑handed,” and stressed that people across the world want sincere peace talks to ensure the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, a key global shipping route.
Mufti’s remarks reflect regional concerns over the ongoing tensions in West Asia and their impact on energy supplies and regional stability.
