RAJOURI, JUNE 23: The ongoing anti-terror operation, codenamed ‘Operation Sheruwali’, entered its 32nd day on Monday, with security forces intensifying search and surveillance activities in the Dorimal-Gambhir Mughlan area of the Manjakote sector in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.
Launched in late May, the multi-agency operation is aimed at tracking and neutralising armed infiltrators believed to be hiding in the rugged and densely forested terrain of the region.
Officials said all participating security agencies remain on high alert and are carrying out extensive combing operations to detect any suspicious movement and ensure the safety of local residents.
“Security forces remain vigilant and committed to maintaining peace and security in the area. Additional checkpoints and area domination patrols are also being conducted as part of the ongoing efforts,” officials said.
Search operations in the Dorimal forest belt continue amid heightened security measures, with authorities urging the public to remain alert and cooperate with security agencies.
