DUBAI, Aug 23: One Indian national was killed and nine others injured after their vehicle veered off the road in Oman, police said.
The accident occurred on Saturday on Sultan Said bin Teymur Street, according to the Royal Oman Police.
The injured, all Indian nationals, were shifted to Nizwa Hospital for medical treatment. The police Air Wing also airlifted two of the injured from Al Hema Governorate to the hospital.
Authorities did not immediately disclose the cause of the accident.
The incident came amid warnings of reduced visibility on highways due to thunderstorms, heavy rain and blowing dust in parts of Oman.
