Jammu Dec 14: Northern Railway’s Jammu Division operated reserved special trains (04082/04081) between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and New Delhi from December 12-14 to handle peak travel demand.
On December 13, train 04082 departed Katra on schedule, accommodating over 700 passengers with 60%+ occupancy. The next day saw even higher demand, with more than 900 seats booked, totaling over 1,600 across both days.
The train stopped at major stations including Jammu, Pathankot Cantt, Jalandhar Cantt, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt, and Panipat, serving devotees and travelers efficiently.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Uchit Singhal called the service a complete success, praising the smooth operations, high occupancy, and staff dedication that ensured comfortable journeys without major issues.
