PATNA, APR 14: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday submitted his resignation from the post to Governor Syed Ata Hasnain after a courtesy call at Lok Bhavan here.
Addressing the media on X, Kumar, the longest‑serving CM of Bihar, announced his decision, ending a nearly two‑decade run at the state’s helm. He was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, JD(U) national working president Sanjay Jha, and state minister Vijay Choudhary when he formally handed over the resignation.
