New Delhi, May 19 : A team from NHPC secured the first runner-up position at the National Finals of the GMC Business Simulation Games held in New Delhi, with the organisation’s employees delivering a strong performance in the national-level competition focused on strategic management and leadership skills.
The NHPC team comprising Ankur Sharma, Bhavesh Sahu, Rajinder Thakur and Rohit Padharia was felicitated by GMC India with a cash award of Rs 75,000, along with a trophy and certificates, following their performance in the finals.
Another NHPC finalist team comprising Satyam Kumar, Gopal Karwa, Hitesh Charan Khare and Abhishek Bhatt also registered an impressive showing during the competition, adding to the organisation’s presence at the national finals.
Officials said the achievement reflected NHPC’s continued emphasis on strengthening strategic thinking, teamwork and leadership capabilities among its workforce through participation in professional and competitive learning platforms.
The GMC Business Simulation Games is a national-level corporate competition that evaluates participants on decision-making, business strategy and management skills through simulated organisational scenarios involving teams from various institutions and companies across the country.
