Jammu, 08 April 2026: Jammu & Kashmir BJP President and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Sat Sharma, along with J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, addressed an organizational meeting at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J&K BJP Vice-President Rekha Mahajan, General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra and Gopal Mahajan, along with other senior leaders, participated in the meeting, which focused on a comprehensive review of ongoing organizational activities across the Union Territory, particularly the programs being conducted under the 47th Foundation Day celebrations of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the meeting, said that the series of programs organized under the Foundation Day are a reflection of BJP’s ideological strength, grassroots connect, and unwavering commitment to social responsibility. He highlighted that the visits to party veterans, senior citizens, and beneficiaries, along with felicitation programs and the “Gaon Chalo/Basti Chalo Abhiyan,” have significantly strengthened the party’s outreach at the booth level.
Sharma said that the enthusiastic participation of our activists in Foundation Day programs demonstrates our dedication to public service and inclusive development. At the same time, we must continue to expose the hollow politics of opposition parties and present before the public the transformative governance delivered under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he added.
Sat Sharma further directed the party cadre to intensify public engagement and ensure maximum participation in all ongoing and upcoming programmes. He emphasized that every program must be organized with a clear vision to connect the masses with the party’s ideology and further strengthen the organizational framework at every level.
Ashok Koul, while reviewing the organizational progress, said that the ongoing “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahabhiyan” is playing a crucial role in strengthening the party at the grassroots. He stressed that all Mandals must ensure the timely and disciplined completion of training camps so that the next phase of the campaign can begin without delay.
He stated that the Prashikshan Abhiyan is the backbone of our organizational strength. It ensures ideological clarity, worker efficiency, and disciplined functioning across all levels. He said that every Mandal must treat these training programs with utmost seriousness and complete them in a time-bound manner.
Ashok Koul also reviewed preparations for the upcoming Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14 and directed the leaders to organize programs across all levels. He emphasized that the programs should highlight the life, vision, and contributions of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, while also showcasing how the BJP has worked tirelessly to realize his ideals of social justice, equality, and empowerment.
