Jammu: BJP Jammu-Kashmir President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, along with MLA Mohan Bhagat, District President Kuldeep Sharma and District In-charge Vinay Gupta, on Sunday addressed party workers at Gudha Jagir in Jodiyan Mandal of Akhnoor Assembly Constituency.

The BJP leaders interacted with party workers and held discussions on strengthening the organisation at the grassroots level, with emphasis on greater coordination, public outreach and empowering workers across the constituency.

Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma highlighted the importance of an active and well-connected organisational structure for taking the party’s programmes and policies to the people. He urged party workers to maintain regular contact with residents and remain responsive to issues concerning local communities.

He said grassroots workers form the backbone of the organisation and play an important role in connecting the party with people in villages and urban areas. He called upon workers to work with dedication and ensure that the benefits of government welfare and development initiatives reach eligible beneficiaries.

The BJP Jammu-Kashmir president also stressed the need for strengthening coordination among different organisational units and ensuring that workers remain actively involved in party activities. He said regular interactions with workers provide an opportunity to understand challenges at the local level and evolve strategies accordingly.

MLA Mohan Bhagat also interacted with the workers and discussed issues related to the constituency. He encouraged party functionaries to remain accessible to the people and work towards addressing their concerns through appropriate forums.

District President Kuldeep Sharma and District In-charge Vinay Gupta also took part in the interaction and shared their views on strengthening the party organisation in the area.

The meeting provided a platform for party workers to share their suggestions, discuss organisational matters and deliberate on ways to improve public engagement.

The leaders emphasised the importance of collective efforts, discipline and sustained grassroots engagement in building a stronger organisation. They called upon workers to actively participate in organisational programmes and strengthen communication with people at the local level.

The interaction at Gudha Jagir is part of the BJP’s ongoing organisational activities aimed at strengthening its network across Jammu and Kashmir and empowering workers at the mandal and booth levels.

The BJP leaders said continued dialogue between senior leadership and grassroots workers would help the organisation identify local issues, improve coordination and strengthen its connect with the people.
