MP Haneefa calls on LG Saxena in Delhi, discusses devp priorities of Ladakh UT

Leh, Mar 12: Member of Parliament from Ladakh, Mohmad Haneefa Jan, called on the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh, Vinai Kumar Saxena, and extended his heartfelt congratulations to him on his appointment as the new Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.

During the meeting, MP Haneefa Jan conveyed his best wishes to the Lt Governor and expressed confidence that Ladakh would witness accelerated development under his leadership and administrative experience.

The interaction also focused on several key issues concerning the development and welfare of the people of Ladakh. The Member of Parliament highlighted the aspirations and concerns of the region’s residents, stressing the importance of balanced regional development across the Union Territory.

He particularly emphasized the need to strengthen infrastructure in remote areas, improve healthcare facilities, enhance the quality of education, and create greater employment and skill development opportunities for the youth of Ladakh. Haneefa Jan noted that addressing these sectors would play a crucial role in ensuring sustainable and inclusive growth in the region.

The MP also underlined the significance of building strong institutional support mechanisms and ensuring that development initiatives benefit all communities across Ladakh. He reiterated that coordinated efforts between the administration and elected representatives are essential to meet the expectations of the people.

Expressing optimism about the future, Haneefa Jan said that with the vast administrative experience and leadership of Lt Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, Ladakh is likely to witness renewed momentum in development and stronger governance in the coming years.

He further assured the Lt Governor of his full cooperation in working together for the progress, prosperity, and overall well-being of the people of Ladakh. The MP concluded by wishing Saxena a successful and impactful tenure and expressed his eagerness to work closely with the administration for building a brighter future for the Union Territory.
