Chennai, March 15: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin sharply criticized the BJP-led central government, accusing it of obstructing efforts to foster unity with minorities in the state.
“Unity with minorities essential, but BJP-led Centre does not allow it,” Stalin said, targeting the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in a pointed remark that highlights deepening political tensions between the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK)-led state government and New Delhi.
The DMK supremo, known for championing social justice and inclusive politics, used the platform to underscore his administration’s commitment to minority welfare amid ongoing friction over issues like funding, language policies, and federalism. Stalin shared his views on X at @mkstalin, amplifying the message to a wider audience.
This comes amid heightened political rhetoric following recent assembly election announcements, with Stalin positioning the DMK as a bulwark against perceived central overreach. The BJP has yet to respond directly to the allegations.
