Tehran/Srinagar, Jul 3: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Friday paid tribute to Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei during her visit to Tehran, describing it as an honour to personally convey her condolences and solidarity.
In a post on X, Mufti said it was an honour to be in Tehran to express her condolences and stand in solidarity, describing Ayatollah Khamenei as a revered leader who stood against injustice and championed the cause of the oppressed.
Mufti joined other dignitaries and mourners at the condolence ceremonies during her visit to Iran, where she reiterated her respect for the Iranian leader and expressed sympathy over his reported martyrdom.
