Jammu, Mar 30: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti made her first visit to the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly on Monday, her initial appearance in the House since 2018.
She watched the proceedings from the Speaker’s gallery.
The visit marks a nearly seven-year absence following the 2018 collapse of her PDP-BJP coalition government, after the Bharatiya Janata Party withdrew support. Mufti’s return to the Assembly complex has drawn significant attention, viewed as a milestone amid the political upheaval that reshaped Jammu and Kashmir’s landscape
