Leh, Mar 12: Staff members of the Rehabilitation Centre operated by the Ladakh Heart Foundation (LHF) in Leh on Thursday expressed appreciation to BJP State President Tashi Gyaltsan Khachu for facilitating the resolution of pending salary issues that had affected employees for an extended period.
A delegation of the centre’s staff met Khachu in Leh and conveyed their gratitude for his intervention, which helped clear the long-standing salary grievances and restore financial stability for the employees working at the facility.
The delegation also acknowledged steps taken to improve working and living conditions at the centre, including the provision of gas cylinder connections. According to the staff members, the arrangement has eased daily operations at the rehabilitation facility and improved basic amenities for those stationed there.
During the interaction, Khachu reiterated his commitment to strengthening healthcare and rehabilitation services across Ladakh. He stated that the welfare of personnel engaged in community service remains a priority for both the party leadership and the Union Territory administration.
Members of the delegation also described Khachu’s leadership as accessible and responsive, noting that his engagement helped address concerns raised by staff at the grassroots level.
The Ladakh Heart Foundation Rehabilitation Centre provides support and care to patients requiring rehabilitation services in the region. Staff members said the recent resolution of administrative issues has allowed them to focus more effectively on their work and service delivery.
