LEH, APR 18: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brig (Dr) BD Sharma, launched a plantation drive planting 500 saplings of apricot and apple trees at Stok Village today, alongside local villagers.
The initiative seeks to boost green cover, promote financial sustainability for communities through new livelihood opportunities, and combat environmental challenges in the high-altitude region.
