Leh, Aug 12: A three-day Leadership Communication Program for school leaders commenced today in Leh, bringing together education administrators from across the district in an initiative aimed at enhancing leadership skills through effective communication.
Organised by the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Leh (LAHDC, Leh) and the Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh, the program is being held in collaboration with the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET Leh). GoldenMile Learning is serving as the implementing partner.
The training, running from August 12 to 14, gathers headmasters and principals from Higher Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools across Leh’s six educational zones, along with administrators from selected private institutions. It follows a prior needs assessment to ensure targeted skill development.
Participants are engaged in three focused modules — Communication for Connection and Influence, Public Speaking: Debunking the Myths, and Building Teams and Leading Change. The sessions are designed to inspire transformation in school leadership by fostering impactful communication and collaborative management.
The program is being led by subject expert Tarana Patel and Dr. Neepa Oza, Program Director at GML Mumbai India (EDU), both representing GoldenMile Learning Trust.
