Leh: In a firm administrative move, the Union Territory of Ladakh has announced a final opportunity for government employees to submit their pending Annual Property Returns (APR) for the year 2025.
As per circular, issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), the Property Return System (PRS) Portal will be reopened from May 6 to May 20, 2026. This window is specifically meant for employees who failed to file their returns despite multiple deadline extensions granted earlier.
The decision follows numerous representations from employees who were unable to complete their submissions within the prescribed timeframe. While considering these requests, the administration has made it clear that this is the last opportunity, and no further extensions will be provided under any circumstances.
All defaulting employees have been directed to submit their APRs through the official PRS portal within the given period. The administration has issued a clear warning that failure to comply within this final window will leave employees solely responsible for the non-submission.
The circular, issued under the authority of Administrative Secretary Rudra Goud (IAS), highlights the government’s emphasis on transparency, accountability, and timely compliance. With a strict deadline now in place, employees across Ladakh are expected to act promptly to avoid any administrative consequences.
