LEH MAR 18: Stranded pilgrims from Ladakh in Armenia are seeking urgent intervention from the Government of India after a sudden baggage restriction left many in distress.
Several Zawwar have reported that their luggage has been left behind at the Armenia airport after authorities reduced the baggage allowance from 30 kilograms to 15 kilograms at the last moment.
While the first batch of pilgrims has safely landed in India, as confirmed by Ladakh MP Mohmad Haneefa Jan, others remain stranded, facing confusion and uncertainty.
Families back home have expressed anger, accusing authorities of poor planning and lack of accountability.
