Leh, Mar 12: Ladakh Police will shortly launch a recruitment drive for the posts of Sub-Inspectors and Constables, with orientation programmes planned in Leh and Kargil to help aspirants prepare for the selection process, according to a press release issued by Police Headquarters, UT Ladakh.
The police authorities said the recruitment notification detailing the process will be issued soon. The selection procedure will involve a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by a written examination for candidates who qualify the physical test, and police verification for those who successfully clear the earlier stages in accordance with the prescribed rules.
To familiarise candidates with the recruitment process and requirements, Ladakh Police will organise orientation camps in both districts of the Union Territory — Leh and Kargil. The programmes will include practice sessions for the Physical Efficiency Test and guidance for the written examination, aimed at helping aspirants understand the standards and procedures involved in the recruitment.
The department has urged the youth of Ladakh to participate in large numbers and make use of the orientation programmes to improve their preparedness for the tests. The initiative is intended to help candidates gain clarity about the recruitment stages and strengthen their readiness for the physical and written assessments.
