Leh Apr 9 : The Chairman/CEC of Ladakh chaired a comprehensive review meeting on preparations for the upcoming Holi Exposition of sacred Buddha Relics, attended by venerable Rinpoches and monks from various monasteries.
Rinpoches proposed making the event more inclusive and spiritually enriching through a combined chanting of mantras by all 16 monasteries. They also emphasized including information on the Tathagata portal in Hindi to enhance accessibility.
Agreeing to these suggestions, the CEC directed concerned agencies and stakeholders to coordinate closely, ensuring every event related to the Sacred Relics achieves resounding success and reflects the occasion’s cultural and spiritual significance.
Additionally, directives were issued to illuminate prominent landmarks—including Leh Palace, Namgyal Tsemo forts, and Leh Main Market—with decorative lighting to foster a festive ambience.
The exposition underscores Ladakh’s rich Buddhist heritage and is expected to draw devotees from across the region.
